It’s been a long time between newsletters so time to fill you in on children’s book happenings in Wellington.

The Storylines Margaret Mahy Medal 2016
Today Barbara Else was named as the Storylines Margaret Mahy Medal winner of 2016. We are all hugely pleased for her. At this moment Barbara has just arrived in Dunedin to take up the Children’s Writer In Residence fellowship at Otago University. She recently commented on Facebook that students aren’t what they used to be, (that’s because Otago Uni banned couch burnings...)
